The Committee appointed with the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers to make recommendations for establishing a formal mechanism to enable Sri Lankan citizens living abroad to exercise their voting rights, has commenced its consultative process.

With a view to developing a democratic, transparent, and efficient system, the Committee has decided to seek written views and suggestions from relevant stakeholders, including Sri Lankan Missions &Posts abroad, civil society organizations, and Sri Lankan citizens residing overseas.

Appreciate if you could submit your views directly to  the committee appointed with the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers to make recommendations for enabling Sri Lankan citizens living abroad to vote.
