1. Applications for police clearance for migration purposes should be forwarded as per specimen attached, together with the following documents.
   
   a. Photocopies of the picture, visa, endorsement and alteration pages of the applicants passport.
   
   b. Application processing fee of US $ 11.00 per application. Fees should be paid by Cash (only if application is hand delivered). The money order/certified cheque should be made in favour of the "Embassy of Sri Lanka". Please note that personal checks will not be accepted.
   
   c. A stamped self-addressed envelope to enable this Mission to forward the Police Clearance certificate upon receipt from the
   authorities in Colombo.
   
   
2. The Police Clearance certificate may also be returned via any of the following options and make payment with the application fee.
   
   Registered Mail - $ 12.00
   US Express Mail - $ 18.00
   Federal Express - $ 20.00
   

Notes

i. This Embassy is not responsible for any document lost in the post.
ii. Submission of forged documents and making false declarations relating to citizenship is a punishable offence. Fees will not be refunded
in these circumstances.
iii. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
